Invisalign Braces
It is a slight misnomer to call Invisalign aligners Invisalign braces. Invisalign are a clear plastic tray (or ‘Aligner’) that slips over the teeth to slowly and steadily align teeth over time. These trays are custom made, and patients will have a series of them made for their teeth as they progress towards that perfectly aligned smile.
After your doctor takes a 3D model of your mouth and determines the best treatment plan for you, Invisalign will manufacture your aligners and send them to your doctor. These will be given to you, typically a few sets at a time. You will swap to the next aligner in the series after roughly every two weeks until the final alignment of your teeth is achieved.

The ‘Not Braces’ Braces
Invisalign has the unique distinction of using no brackets or wires to align teeth. This creates a unique treatment experience with less ‘complexity’ for both patient and orthodontist. This leads to less time in the doctor’s office doing the things you love – while creating a new beautiful smile at the same time.
